Sofie Halvorsdatter Helgøy

Sofie Halvorsdatter was born on July 16th, 1824.¹   Sofie Halvorsdatter's father was Halvor Johannesson Helgøy and her mother was Sissel Olsdatter Norheim.  Her paternal grandparents were Johannes Anderson Bjelland and Sofie Halvorsdatter Helgøy. She had a brother named Ola Halvorson.  She was the older of the two children. She had six half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Johannes Halvorson, Ola Halvorson, Halvor Halvorson, Anders Halvorson, Anders Halvarson, Ola Anders Halvorson, Sissel Halvardsdatter, Margrethe Halvorsdatter, Elen Karina Halvorsdatter, Anne Sesilie Halvorsdatter and Karen Kristine Halvorsdatter.  She died at the age of 55 on April 28th, 1880 in Hidle, Rogaland.¹
