Ola Halvorson Helgøy

Ola Halvorson was born on January 18th, 1834.¹   Ola Halvorson's father was Halvor Johannesson Helgøy and his mother was Anne Sesilie Olsdatter Nesheim.  His paternal grandparents were Johannes Anderson Bjelland and Sofie Halvorsdatter Helgøy. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Johannes Halvorson, Halvor Halvorson, Anders Halvorson, Anders Halvarson, Ola Anders Halvorson, Sissel Halvardsdatter, Margrethe Halvorsdatter, Elen Karina Halvorsdatter, Anne Sesilie Halvorsdatter and Karen Kristine Halvorsdatter.  He was the third oldest of the eleven children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Ola Halvorson and Sofie Halvorsdatter.
