Lars Ommundson was born on January 30th, 1900 in Nordre Talgje i Sjernarøy, Rogaland.1 Lars Ommundson's father was Ommund Larsson Talgje and his mother was Boyine Beate Birgitte Børresdtr. Husebø. His paternal grandparents were Lars Ommundson Talgje and Anna Bergesdatter Sæbø. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Børre Ommundson, Leif Ommundson, Einar Ommundson, Per Ommundson, Atrid Ommundsdatter, Randi Ommundsdatter and Åsta Beate Ommundsdatter. He was the oldest of the eight children.-
