Einar Ommundson was born on October 5th, 1910 in Nordre Talgje i Sjernarøy, Rogaland.1 Einar Ommundson's father was Ommund Larsson Talgje and his mother was Boyine Beate Birgitte Børresdtr. Husebø. His paternal grandparents were Lars Ommundson Talgje and Anna Bergesdatter Sæbø. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Lars Ommundson, Børre Ommundson, Leif Ommundson, Per Ommundson, Atrid Ommundsdatter, Randi Ommundsdatter and Åsta Beate Ommundsdatter. He is the third youngest of the eight children.-
