Olivia was born on May 29th, 1854 in Grue i Solør, Hedmark.1 Olivia's father was Lars Olsen and her mother was Anne Arnesdatter. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Ole, Arne, Petter, Albert, Augusta and Lovise. She was the third oldest of the seven children. Bodde i Færgegaden 2 i Horten ved folketellingen 1900. Hennes patronymikon og foreldre er basert på at jeg har funnet rett person i folketellingene 1865 og 1875.
Olivia and Olaf (Ole) were married in a religious ceremony on July 9th, 1885 in Kongsvinger, Hedmark.3 They had three sons and four daughters, named Olaf L. Hamfjord, Rolf, Erling, Erika Otilie, Ågot, Ragnhild and Astrid.
