Johannes Bjørnsen was born in 1642 in Vikedal, Rogaland. Johannes Bjørnsen's father was Bjørn Ingvalden Egeland and his mother was Marita Larsdatter Sukka. His maternal grandparents were Lars (Laurs El. Lauritz) Aslaksen Sukka and Siri Jonsdatter. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Lauritz Bjørnsen, Bjørn Bjørnsen, Haldis Bjørnsdatter, Astrid Bjørnsdatter, N.N. Bjørnsdatter and N.N. Bjørnsdatter.
Johannes Bjørnsen were married in a religious ceremony before 1702. He had four biological sons named Bjørn Johannesen, Gabriel Johannesen, Ola Johannesen and Johannes Johannesen.

Bjørn Johannesen was born in 1675 in Vikedal, Rogaland.1 He died at the age of 96 in 1771. He was buried on April 18th, 1771.1
