Jakob Olsen

Jakob was born in 1812 in Adal i Borre, Vestfold.¹   Jakob's father was Ole Hansen and his mother was Else Maria Andersdatter.  His paternal grandparents were Hans Olsen and Mari Jacobsdatter; his maternal grandparents were Anders Sivertsen and Eli Halvorsdatter. He had a brother and three sisters, named Hans Olsen, Johanne Andrea, Inger Marie and Berte Marie.  He was the oldest of the five children.
