Ole was born in 1784 and his baptism took place on March 28th, 1784 in Borre, Vestfold.1 2 Ole's father was Hans Olsen and his mother was Mari Jacobsdatter. He had four brothers and a sister, named Christen, Jacob, Isach, Hans and Berte Marie. He was the oldest of the six children.General Notes
Kirkeboka ved fødsel/dåp bekrefter at foreldrene er fra Mellom-Augedal. Overtok sammen med sin bror Christen gården Mellom-Adal fra sin far i 1820. Ole selger sin del av gården i 1853 til Nils Christensen på Søndre Adal.
Ole and Else Maria were married in a religious ceremony.1 They had two sons and three daughters, named Jakob, Hans Olsen, Johanne Andrea, Inger Marie and Berte Marie.
