Jakob Østensen
Jakob was born on June 25th, 1876 in Hjelmeland, Rogaland.1 Jakob's father was Østen Østensen and his mother was Kjersti Lorentzdatter Steine. His maternal grandparents were Lorentz Markussen Steine and Marta Jakobsdatter Steine. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Lorens, Østen, Johannes, Østen, Anna and Marta. He was the youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 74 on February 24th, 1951 in Hjelmeland, Rogaland.1 General Notes
Arbeidet i 1891 som skjøter på spinneriet, Hjelmeland. Flyttet til Stavanger, men i 1940 flyttet han og Margrete tilbake til Hjelmeland.
