Nils Torgrimson Sauar

Nils Torgrimson was born in 1811 in Sauherad, Telemark.¹   Nils Torgrimson's father was Torgrim Nilsson Berge and his mother was Ragnhild Bjørnsdotter Sauar.  His maternal grandparents were Bjørn Andresson Sauar and Ingeborg Andresdotter. He had a brother and two sisters, named Andres Torgrimson, Torbjørg Torgrimsdatter and Ingrid Torgrimsdotter.  He was the oldest of the four children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Hans and Ingeborg.
