Barbro Johannesdatter's baptism took place on May 23rd, 1802 in Helgøy, Rogaland.1 Barbro Johannesdatter's father was Johannes Anderson Bjelland and her mother was Sofie Halvorsdatter Helgøy. Her paternal grandparents were Anders Torkelson and Liva Johannesdatter. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Halvor Johannesson, Anders Johannesson, Liva Johannesdatter and Sofie Johannesdatter. She died on May 24th, 1869.1 
Barbro Johannesdatter and Lars Joneson were married in a religious ceremony on November 4th, 1826.1 They had seven sons and a daughter, named Jo Larsson, Johannes (Jehans) Larsson, Jone (John) Larsson, Lars Larsson, Nils Larsson, Anders Larsson, Rasmus Larsson and Sofie Larsson.
